The National Center of Meteorology warned on Sunday of a significant drop in temperatures during the coming hours, as cold weather will prevail during the night and early morning in several Yemeni governorates.

The weather bulletin indicated that the minimum temperatures in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda, in addition to the highlands in Ibb and Al-Dhalea, will range between 3 and 7 degrees Celsius.

The center also stated that the desert areas and inland plateaus will witness relatively cold weather during the night and morning periods, and advised citizens, especially children, school students, the elderly, and workers during these periods, to take the necessary measures to deal with the cold weather.
