Lauder receives a solar lighting project with Emirati support and sponsorship from Al Mahrami

The local authority in Lawdar District in Abyan Governorate, this Wednesday morning, launched a project to light the main and secondary streets with solar energy, sponsored by a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, and with funding from the United Arab Emirates.
The project includes the supply and installation of solar-powered lighting units, with each unit having a power of 400 watts. With the aim of lighting the main and secondary streets and public places in the city of Lauder to reduce traffic accidents and enhance safety in markets that previously suffered from complete darkness.
This project is part of a group of development projects scheduled to be implemented during the next few days in Abyan Governorate, with Emirati funding and direct follow-up from Leadership Council member Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, as part of efforts to improve infrastructure, provide basic services, and enhance security in markets and public places.
