A young man who extorted a girl was arrested after being forced to pay about one million riyals

The Arts Police in Shabwa Governorate managed to arrest a accused of blackmailing girls on social media.
Lieutenant Khamis Hussein Muhammad Salem, Director of the Arts Police, said that the Literature Police received a report from one of the girls being extorted, to start the police to follow up and lure the accused until he was arrested.
Lieutenant Khamis indicated that the accused, called “B.M.,” from the people of the province, confessed to the charges attributed to him with extortion, and he also admitted that he had received from the victim an amount of (830,000) eight hundred and thirty thousand Yemeni riyals, under the threat of publishing personal photos of the victim.
He stated that the accused was continuing to extort and threaten the publication of the photos, until he was arrested.
He emphasized that the police will continue to pursue everything related to prejudice the values and morals that contradict the laws and social values ... calling on the people of the province to cooperate with the police, and he also appealed to parents to follow their children to preserve values and morals.
