The Hanger Security Point at the main entrance to the city of Taiz managed to seize 5 cartons of the narcotic and carcinogenic “whale”, hidden under the seat of a bus driver belonging to a person named (ASS), according to a security source, “Aden Al -Ghad” said.

The security source confirmed that the security services discovered the smuggled shipment during a routine inspection of the bus, as the driver tried to hide the cartons under the driving seat.

The quantity, which is estimated at the market value of more than 21 thousand Saudi riyals (according to the price of a single carton 4200 riyals) - was subject to reservations at the city's military police headquarters.

Although legal procedures require the delivery of the materials that are taken to the Office of Industry and Trade (as a competent authority) to be seized and destroyed, with the transfer of those involved to the drug control department and the Public Prosecution, the procedures were limited to interrogating the driver and confiscating the quantity, without taking legal steps towards the parties involved in smuggling until the writing of the news.
