The arrest of a boat carrying 164 illegal immigrants in the territorial waters

Within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the security services to combat smuggling and reduce illegal immigration, the maritime patrol of the security campaign yesterday morning, Saturday morning, corresponding to the first of Ramadan 1446 AH (March 1, 2025 CE), managed to seize a suspicious boat in the territorial waters carrying 164 people from illegal immigrants. Among these immigrants were 37 women, all of them of African nationality.
During the careful and intensive monitoring and follow -up process, the patrol noticed suspicious movements of a boat trying to infiltrate the coasts illegally.
After approaching it and conducting a comprehensive inspection, it was found that the boat was carrying a large number of illegal immigrants who were smuggled through the sea in inhumane conditions, without any official documents or permits that prove their right to enter the country.
The necessary legal measures were taken immediately, as the boat was seized and all illegal immigrants were seized on board in preparation for the deportation process in accordance with local laws.
The boat crew of three individuals was also arrested, and they were imprisoned in preparation for being brought before justice for human smuggling.
The security authorities began extensive investigations to uncover the smuggling network involved in this process, with the aim of tracking the authorities responsible for organizing such illegal operations.
The security campaign seeks to expand the research circle to include any other parties that may be directly or indirectly involved in this criminal activity.
