Al -Zubaidi discusses with the British Ambassador the developments of the economic and political situation in our country

President Aidarous Qassem Al -Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice -President of the Presidential Command Council, met today, Thursday, with His Excellency Abda Sharif, UK Ambassador (Britain) to our country, through visual contact.
The meeting discussed the economic crisis and its repercussions on the humanitarian situation in our country, and its implications for living and services, in light of the lack of resources and the suspension of oil and gas exports, and the collapse of the currency exchange rate, the high prices, and the return of services, foremost of which is electricity.
The two sides stressed the importance of joining local, regional and international efforts to support the Command Council and the government in activating sovereign economic resources, foremost of which is the re -export of oil and gas, activating other revenue institutions, and ensuring the arrival of revenues from various governorates to the central bank.
Politically, the two sides discussed the importance of working with regional and international partners to enhance the unity and cohesion of the Presidential Command Council, and to coordinate the relationship between the Command Council, the government and the local authorities in the governorates, in a way that guarantees the unity of the decision and the integration of work between the various authorities at the central and local levels.The meeting was attended by Muhammad Al -Ghaithi, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission for the Presidential Command Council, and Imad Muhammad, Director of the Office of the Vice -President of the Command Council.
