Stop 9 exchange companies in the Houthi areas

The Houthi militia stopped nine exchange companies in their areas of control, arbitrarily raised a wave of condemnation in banking and financial circles.
The group’s Aerial Association in Sana'a announced that the suspension came based on the directives of the Central Bank of Yemen in Sanaa, and included both.
Banking sources reported that the suspension decision came as a result of the owners of these companies' refusal to pay money as royalties for the benefit of the Houthi group, in a move described as an attempt to completely control the financial sector.
