Socotra Archipelago witnessed, today, Saturday, the launch of a cleaning campaign in the Daitouh Natural Reserve, under the auspices of the Governor, Raafat Al -Thaqali, in cooperation with the Socotra Association for Wildlife, under the supervision of the cleaning fund.

Salem Hawash Ahmed, Director of the Environmental Protection Authority, confirmed that these initiatives are one of the main pillars to preserve the beauty of nature, as cleaning campaigns contribute to improving the aesthetic values ​​of reserves and natural parks, which enhances environmental awareness.

In turn, Eng. Nasser Abdul Rahman, President of the Socotra Association for Wildlife, said that the campaign aims to clean several sites within natural reserves and national parks, in addition to the Akhwar, in the framework of the continuous efforts of the environment protection.
