Member of the Presidential Command Council, Major General Faraj Salmin Al -Bahsni, met today, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to our country, Shao Cheng, to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and ways to enhance and develop them to serve common interests.

The meeting touched on the developments of the situation on the local and regional scene, and the common efforts required during the current period, to face the existing challenges, especially in the economic, service and humanitarian aspects, and the reliable role on friends in the People's Republic of China towards the Yemeni people, in this stage in which the suffering of citizens has exacerbated the continuation of the war and the practices of the Houthi terrorist militias.

A member of the Presidential Command Council, noted the strong relations between the two friendly countries, and the importance of strengthening them, to serve common interests at the level of international forums, expressing his great appreciation for the efforts of the Republic of China regarding its fixed positions towards the Presidential Command Council and the government, in order to achieve security and stability in our country and the region.

, Major General Al -Bahsini, the decisions issued by the Chinese government regarding exempting Yemen's exports from customs duties, and granting opportunities to participate in international exhibitions, which come within the framework of its support for Yemen in the commercial sector, which will contribute to strengthening economic relations between the two friendly countries.

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese embassy expressed his country's keenness to push the peace process, continue to provide support to the Presidential Command Council and the government, and provide humanitarian aid and economic support to Yemen.
