The Southern Transitional Council announces the start of its mission in the United States of America

The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Authority in the Southern Transitional Council announces the start of the work of the Council’s mission in the American capital, DC, in the context of expanding external communication channels and strengthening the institutional presence of the council on the international scene.
This step aims to develop mechanisms of communication with various parties in the United States, and work to communicate the council’s vision and the positions of the people of the South on priority issues, including efforts to enhance security and regional stability, protect vital interests associated with international navigation, and combat extremism, reflecting the role that the council seeks to play in this regard.
The mission will also pay special attention to the issues and needs of the southern community in the United States, and work to strengthen cultural and social ties with American society.
The Council emphasizes the importance of constructive openness and dialogue with all international partners, in order to enhance the opportunities for stability and understanding in the region, and serves the aspirations of the people of the south towards a safe and prosperous future.
