The Houthis empty oil with primitive tanks in the Bay of Daqnoa and the leakage threatens the Red Sea

Houthi militia intensified crude oil discharge operations from anchored carriers in the bay of Daqin near the port of Ras Issa, using primitive floating tanks that lack the lowest environmental safety standards, amid the complete absence of any technical or international control.
Local sources confirmed dangerous oil leaks while pumping fuel from four carriers through these tanks, which threatens an environmental disaster that may cause severe damage to the marine ecosystem in the Red Sea, and threaten fish wealth and livelihoods of local fishermen.
Humanist activist Mujahid Al -Qab explained that the militia uses local boats to drag the oil tanks to points close to the beach, then the shipments are transported via trucks into the Houthi control areas, in a scene that reflects a state of chaos and mismanagement in the energy file.
And the continuation of these operations may lead to larger leaks that are difficult to contain, which is what international environmental organizations must intervene, and send independent technical teams to assess the situation and avoid a possible marine catastrophe.
