Saudi Arabia allows the running of pilgrims from Sana'a International Airport

The Saudi government allowed direct flights to Yemeni pilgrims from Sana'a International Airport, which is controlled by the Houthi militia.
The Ministry of Endowments and Guidance in the Yemeni government said today, Tuesday, that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued an order to approve direct flights to transport the Yemeni pilgrims from Sanaa International Airport to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The ministry added in its statement, which it posted on its Facebook page, that this approval comes "within the framework of the Kingdom's keenness to facilitate the performance of the Hajj rituals for the guests of Rahman, and in the interest of their safety and security."
In turn, the Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, Dr. Muhammad bin Ayda, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Saudi government for this step, which he said would contribute to “facilitating the process of promoting the pilgrims of our country under exceptional circumstances that Yemen is going through, and in appreciation of the hardship that Yemeni pilgrims bear in moving in land, in addition to the obstacles that the Houthi militia places in front of the passenger movement, which hinders the arrival of pilgrims Easily and easily Holy Land.
He added that this step comes as an extension of the brotherly positions and the humanitarian efforts made by the brothers in the Kingdom towards the Yemeni people, and an embodiment of the pioneering role they play in the service of pilgrims and pilgrims from different countries of the world.
The statement indicated that these trips are expected to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni pilgrims, and facilitating their procedures for their arrival to perform the Hajj rituals for this year safely and reassured.
