The General Authority for Lands stops all branches work in the governorates until further notice

The General Authority for Lands, Surveying and Urban Planning issued, today, Monday, an official circular to arrest all the work of the authority’s branches in the Yemeni governorates until further notice, based on directives from the Prime Minister.
The circular, signed by the Acting Chairman of the General Authority, Salem Thabet Al -Awlaki, stated that the arrest decision comes based on official directives issued on April 30, 2025, and in order to arrange the status of the authority and its branches, until the completion of the comprehensive review process and the evaluation of performance during the last period.
The commission stressed in its circular that the arrest is comprehensive for all works in the branches, and that any transgression of this decision will bear the perpetrator of complete legal responsibility, calling on all the directors of the branches to completely adhere to the contents of the circular until the issuance of another notice.
The decision comes in light of government efforts to reorganize and control institutional performance in state institutions, and to achieve the principles of transparency and administrative accountability.
