An Israeli official reveals their next targets against the Houthis

An Israeli security official told the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that the Israeli entity will continue to bomb the “Houthis in Yemen” without restrictions, stressing that the ceasefire agreement between the United States and the Houthis is “obligatory” to Israel, noting that his country will “intensify its strikes soon” and include new goals in Yemen.
The official added that Israel has set within its targets "missile launch platforms, infrastructure facilities and ports that will be fully destroyed." He also pointed out that the Israeli security establishment is considering carrying out direct strikes against Iranian targets.
This comes hours after the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation announced the intention of Israel "responding strongly" to the Houthi attacks, noting that a military plan is currently crystallizing the expansion of strikes in Yemen.
The Israeli Defense Minister, Yisrael Katz, had vowed a violent response to the missile attack that started from Yemen, and said in a tweet on the X * *: “The Houthis continue to launch Iranian missiles at Israel, and as we promised, we will respond strongly in Yemen and wherever the matter is necessary.”
The leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, in turn attacked the Netanyahu government because of what he considered a failure, saying: “Israel cannot sit and wait for a mass catastrophe from a Houthi missile,” calling for intensifying attacks on Yemeni infrastructure, and targeting Iranian experts, as well as expanding cyber attacks on electricity, ports and airports systems.
The occupation army had announced earlier on Friday the monitoring of a ballistic missile launched from Yemen, which led to the activation of the sirens in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and more than 25 cities and town, and caused the injury of a woman while trying to reach a shelter, and the flights stopped temporarily at Ben Gurion Airport.
