A statement of Yemeni Airlines regarding those stranded at Amman Airport

Yemeni Airlines confirmed its continuation of efforts to ensure the return of passengers stranded at Amman International Airport to Yemen, noting that the company succeeded in securing alternative destinations for most of the 185 -passengers of Amman's passenger passengers, while only 11 passengers are still in Amman, while others chose to change their destinations to other countries according to their desires.
An official statement issued by the company explained that it had sponsored the full costs of residence for the passengers stranded throughout their stay, despite the operational challenges and the exceptional circumstances it is going through, especially after the great damage to its fleet as a result of targeting Sanaa airport.
The Yemeni stressed that this step came out of "national and humanitarian responsibility", although it is not legally or operational to bear these costs, considering that the circumstances that led to the delay of the trip were outside the scope of its responsibility.
The company concluded its statement by emphasizing its commitment to sponsoring the remaining passengers until they secure their safe return, stressing its adherence to the humanitarian principles, which are the basis of its work in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is going through.
