In a qualitative process: seizing a boat and 132 illegal immigrants off the coast of Sabiha

In a qualitative security operation that reflects the vigilance and efficiency of the joint security campaign, its units were able to thwart a large -scale sea smuggling attempt off the coast of the Ras al -Ara area. The operation resulted in the seizure of a boat that was carrying (132) illegal immigrants from the Horn of Africa.
This process comes in the context of the relevant efforts made by the joint security campaign to secure the Sabiha directorates and combat various forms of smuggling and organized crime. During the operation, the security forces managed to arrest four people who were on the boat and were being smuggling human beings through territorial waters. The defendants have been transferred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them.
This seizure is among the largest of its kind during the current year, which indicates the increasing security challenges facing the region and the high preparation of the security campaign forces to deal with it efficiently and competently.
Since its inception in August 2023, led by Brigadier Hamdi Shukri Al -Subaihi, the joint security campaign has succeeded in extending its security influence along the Sabiha districts, especially the coastal areas that were major crossings for smugglers and gangs organized for decades. The campaign was able to dismantle many criminal networks involved in smuggling humans, drugs and weapons, and imposing unprecedented security control over the coastal strip extending from the head of the naked to Bab al -Mandab.
In addition, the campaign carried out a number of pre -emptive operations that resulted in thwarting frequent smuggling attempts and controlling quantities of prohibited materials and marine boats that were used in illegal activities. The campaign also contributed to achieving remarkable security stability in areas that were considered one of the most dangerous security focus on the coast.
The leadership of the security campaign, headed by Brigadier General Hamdi Shoukry, confirmed that these achievements would not have been achieved without the great support from the military and security leadership, and the close solidarity with the honorable sons of Sabiha who supported the efforts of the security men in their ongoing war against smuggling and chaos. He stressed that the campaign will continue its duties with full force and determination so that all the ports and crossings are cleared of aspects of corruption and sabotage.
At the conclusion of her statement, the security campaign leadership called on all official authorities and civil society organizations to provide the necessary support for these national efforts and enhance the mechanisms of joint cooperation to ensure the sustainability of security and stability and protect society from the risks of the crime that crosses the cross -border.
