The Houthis announce the restart of Sana'a airport after the Israeli bombing

The Houthi group announced, on Tuesday, the resumption of the activity of Sana'a International Airport and the reception of flights starting on Wednesday, after completing the rehabilitation of the runway damaged by the last bombing.
The group explained through its media platforms that the technical and engineering teams have completed the work of reform and equipment, confirming the airport's readiness to receive flights.
The announcement comes after a temporary interruption of the air movement as a result of air strikes that the airport was subjected to as part of a military escalation in the capital, Sanaa, which led to the suspension of flights, including the humanitarian flights of international organizations.
The losses of Sana'a airport due to the Israeli strikes cost about $ 500 million, and about 13 aircraft, including 3 aircraft that the militias took control of last year and began to conduct humanitarian flights to Jordan after international agreements.
The militias have worked urgent maintenance with the aim of returning the remaining plane in Jordan and appearing in front of public opinion that it reopened the airport, but with equipment with a primitive truth.
