The city of Aden is preparing today, Saturday, for a wide popular rally in the Square of Show in Khor Maksar, in protest against the economic collapse and the deterioration of the living and service conditions that the city has been witnessing for months.

Activists and civil society organizations called on all citizens to participate actively to express their refusal to continue this situation, which cast a shadow over daily life.

The square will witness today the arrival of large numbers of citizens from various districts of Aden, raising banners calling for improving basic services, paying salaries, putting an end to high prices and the collapse of the local currency.

This called a number of activists to continue the popular move until the demands are responded, stressing the importance of the unity of the class and not being drawn behind any attempts to sow the chaos.

They also demanded the international community to assume its responsibility in supporting the efforts of economic and humanitarian stability in the city.
