A security commander in Maris announces his intention to leave the security work in protest against marginalization and discrimination

The Commander of the Security Belt Sector in Maris, Al -Dhalea Governorate, Nasr Jaaoul, announced his intention to leave the security work, in protest against what he described as "the racism and the marginalization that the region is exposed to, and ignored the sacrifices of its men for years in order to maintain security and stability."
Jaaoul said in a statement to him: “With God's help, we opened the road in the Maris - Damat front, the link between Sana'a and Aden through Al -Dali ', and we confirm that this work is not for the purpose of collection as some promote, we are the first to withdraw his forces from the points if the one who bears the responsibility of security is found, we have condemned our duty for more than ten years.”
Jaaoul added: “Despite the sacrifices made by Maris in the face of the Houthi militias since 2015, their rights are marginalized, and their participation in the security and military decision is ignored, and this is what drives us today to rethink our continued work.”
Jaaoul stressed that his decision comes after his feeling of let down by what he described as "sharing influence and manipulation of dues", again, his pride in his sacrifices and his companions, without charge or linking with any external parties.
Sources had reported tension between Jaaoul and a number of military leaders in the army, which developed into sharp differences that almost led to armed confrontations, against the backdrop of mutual accusations of attempts to exclude and deliberately marginalized.
He concluded his message at the invitation of “empowering the real statesmen, and embracing the sincere cadres that sacrificed for the country away from narrow and regional accounts.”
