The National Meteorological and Early Warning Center, today, Friday, May 30, 2025, expected thunderstorms varying intensity during the coming hours in 12 Yemeni governorates, including parts of Taiz, Ibb, Al -Dhalea, Saada, Abyan and Lahj, Imran, Al -Mahwit, west of Sanaa and Dhamar, in addition to the Shabwa and Hadramout highlands.

He also pointed to the continuation of the intense heat wave in the desert, coastal and internal plateaus, with temperatures exceeding 46 degrees Celsius in Sayyun and spots, 42 degrees in Marib, 41 in Ataq in Shabwa Governorate, and 40 in the city of Al -Hazm in Al -Jouf.

The center warned of thunderstorms and the presence in the torrents of torrents, as well as warning of hot climates, calling on citizens to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during the afternoon, and a lot of drinking fluids.
