A fire destroyed the house of a citizen in the city of Al-Khawkhah, Hodeidah Governorate, resulting in his serious injury and the death of his wife in Al-Khawkhah District, Hodeidah Governorate.

Local sources said that the citizen Abdo Ahmed Hamna, a resident of the city of Al-Khawkha and working as a fisherman, was seriously injured and his wife, Nada Mazjaji, died in a fire that destroyed their house in Al-Khawkha.

The sources stated that the cause of the fire was the presence of petroleum in the house... and that this was the reason for the rapid devouring of the house, the death of the wife, and the injury of her husband. The sources described his condition as being on the verge of death.
