A little girl died by drowning in Al-Mahra floods

A child drowned today in one of the pools of water resulting from torrential rains in Wadi Ghuburi in the Qishn District of Al-Mahra Governorate.
According to local sources, the girl was swept away by floods while she was playing near a swamp, and no one was able to save her.
This painful incident highlights the dangers of swimming in flood swamps, especially for children.
In this context, the Emergency Committee in Al-Mahra Governorate warned parents not to allow their children to approach flood swamps or attempt to swim in them.
The committee stressed the danger of swimming in these swamps, as it may cause drowning or serious injuries.
The committee called on parents to constantly monitor their children and keep them away from places of danger.
The committee also appealed to citizens to adhere to safety instructions and not to risk their lives or the lives of their children.
