Abyan security reveals the mystery of finding a body dumped on the Seoul ferry in Ahwar

The Abyan Security Department was able to uncover the mystery of finding the body of a person inside a Sewol ferry last week in Ahwar District and arrest the suspect.
The security services in the governorate, with direct follow-up by the Director General of Security, Brigadier General Ali Nasser Baazab, were able to identify the perpetrator (A-M-A-N-L) in the premeditated murder of the victim, “Al-Khader Ahmed Lasur,” whose body was found. On the Seoul-Bahwar ferry last Wednesday morning, May 15, 2024.
After examining the body and discovering that there was a gunshot wound in it from the front side and proving that it was a murder and not a case of drowning, the security services in Ahwar, led by the director of investigation in the directorate, investigated and took statements from some people in the area to identify the suspect, who witnesses confirmed that an altercation had occurred between him and the victim. It was the afternoon of the day of the crime, and witnesses also confirmed that the suspect was present on his motorcycle in the square where the body was found on the evening of the same day of the crime.
In a joint operation between the security services and in cooperation with some social figures in the area, the suspect was arrested at dawn today, Thursday, and the investigation teams of the Criminal Investigation Department in the governorate began their work by investigating the accused and confronting him with evidence proving his presence at the crime scene proven by conclusive evidence. The suspect confessed to committing the crime. The premeditated murder of the victim, Al-Khader, of Tire, last Tuesday, May 13, 2024 AD.
The accused's confessions were documented in official records, and the case file will be referred to the Public Prosecution in the governorate to take the necessary measures.
The Abyan Security Command thanked the dignitaries, notables and sheikhs of Ahwar for their cooperation with the agencies in this case, stressing that it will strike with an iron hand anyone who dares to harm the security and stability of the governorate.
