Al -Sharq Al -Awsat newspaper quoted sources of Yemeni government as saying that American military aviation doubled its raids on the Houthi fortifications and their gatherings in Hodeidah, west of Yemen.

The increase in raids, according to the sources, coincided with the Houthis intensifying mine cultivation in the city of Hodeidah and amid the population gatherings in anticipation of a ground military operation. The government forces are expected to plan to implement them in coordination with the American army to attack the city and extract it from their control.
The sources continued that the American aerial bombardment was intensified in conjunction with the Houthis sent additional reinforcements to the seam lines.
Houthi media reported, on Friday, that the death toll of the American raids on the port of Ras Issa, the Yemeni oil port overlooking the Red Sea, on Thursday, rose to 74 dead and 171 injured.
The US Army Central Command confirmed the strikes, but she refused to comment when she was asked about the losses of civilians.
Iran and Hamas condemned the American strikes on Yemen, where Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismail Baqi, said, “We condemn the strongest terms the American air strike on the Yemeni port of Ras Issa,” considering that it is “evidence of aggressive crimes and a flagrant violation of the basic principles of the United Nations’ law. ”
As for the Hamas movement, it condemned the "brutal aggression" after the American strikes on the port of Ras Issa.
Hamas said in a statement that "this brutal aggression is a flagrant violation of Yemeni sovereignty, and it represents a fully -watered war crime, and confirms the continuation of the aggressive American policies targeting free peoples who reject the Zionist and American dominance in the region."
