Abu Dhabi: The signing of an agreement to add 120 megawatts to Aden Solar Station, to follow up on Al -Zubaidi

The Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, witnessed, today, Monday, the signing ceremony of the expansion of the solar power plant, 120 megawatts, in the capital, Aden, with generous funding from the brothers in the United Arab Emirates, by following up by Major General Aidarous Qassem Al -Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice -President of the Presidential Command Council,
The agreement, which provides for the addition of 120 megawatts to the existing station, was signed by our country, the Minister of Electricity and Energy. Manea bin Yamin, Minister of State, Governor of the Capital Aden Ahmed Hamed Lams, Director General of the General Electricity Corporation Eng. Mujib Al -Shaabi, Ali Al -Shammari, Head of the Strategic and Private Projects Department at Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company “Source” by the brothers in the UAE.
After the signing, the Minister of Electricity, Eng. Manea bin Yamin and the governor of the capital, Aden, the support provided by the brothers in the UAE for the energy system in our country and the capital, Aden in particular, through renewable and clean energy sources, which would reduce the suffering of citizens, especially during the summer.
Bin Yamin and Mals praised the great efforts made by Major General Al -Zubaidi to support the Ministry of Electricity, and the local authority, enabling them to overcome the difficulties related to providing energy through strategic and sustainable projects.
In the context, Minister Bin Yamin stressed that Al -Zubaidi continues his efforts and consultations with the brothers in the UAE to develop sustainable strategic solutions to the electricity sector in the capital, Aden and the rest of the provinces, as well as other efforts made to compel the government to carry out its duties of providing fuel for power stations to return the obstetrician to normal.
It is expected that the expansion project will be completed in a record period due to the readiness of the transmission line, and it would contribute to raising the obstetric capacity of the electricity system in the capital, Aden, and enhances dependence on renewable energy as a sustainable solution to the electricity crisis.
