Rain forecasts in 8 governorates in the coming hours and temperatures up to 43 degrees Celsius

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning (Government), Tuesday, May 20, 2025, expected separate rain in 8 Yemeni governorates, during the coming hours, and a record temperature in desert areas of up to 43 degrees Celsius.
The center explained in its daily publication that separate rains may be accompanied by thunder sometimes on parts of the governorates of (Taiz, Al -Dhalea and the highlands of the governorates of Lahj and Abyan), separate rains may fall on parts of the governorates of (Ibb, Rima and Hajjah), with a decrease in the horizontal visibility on the slopes and mountain roads of these governorates due to low clouds and the formation of fog.
It is expected in the coastal areas, an atmosphere of awakening to partially cloudy, hot and wet, with light rain on the Socotra archipelago and the southern coasts and light winds to moderate speeds, its speed ranges on the Socotra archipelago between (10-20 knots) with gifts that may reach 30 knots that work to the sea disorder and the wave height.
In the desert areas, the center expects an atmosphere of awakening with the presence of dirt plankton on the governorates of (Marib and Al -Jouf), hot and dry, where the maximum temperatures range between (37 - 43 degrees Celsius) and the winds are light to moderate speed, sometimes exciting for dust and sand.
The center warned citizens of hot and highly heated atmosphere on deserts, internal plateaux and plains, and it is advised not to expose the sun during the afternoon, alerting the presence in the torrents and stomachs of valleys or crossing them during and after the rains.
