The Yemeni Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al -Daari, discussed today in the capital, Aden, with the ambassadors of the European Union, the developments of the situation in Yemen, stressing the need to support and enhance the capabilities of the armed forces to secure maritime navigation and restore the state.
The meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mustafa Al -Numan, included the European Union Ambassador Gabriel Vinci, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Janet Siben, the Ambassador of France Catherine Kumon, the German Ambassador Janina Kevimioler, the Finnish Ambassador Lenana Phil, and the director of cooperation in the European Union Ghost Mohman.
And stop the meeting on the efforts made to secure maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al -Mandab, in light of the continued threat of the Houthi terrorist militia for freedom of navigation and global trade lines.
The Minister of Defense confirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia has turned Yemen into a platform for the launch and testing of Iranian missiles and weapons, with the aim of threatening and blackmailing the region and the world. He reaffirmed that supporting the armed forces and enhancing its capabilities represents "the guarantor option to secure maritime navigation, restore the state and end the threat of the Houthi terrorist militia threatening security and regional and international peace."

For their part, the European Union ambassadors renewed their support for the Presidential Command Council and the Yemeni government to achieve peace in Yemen.
