Luka Modric leaves Real Madrid with "unforgettable memories"

Luka Modric announced his departure from Real Madrid, ending a legendary era in the club.
The Croatian star wrote on Instagram, addressing Real Madrid fans: “It is time. The moment I did not want to come at all, but this is football, and in life for everything is the beginning and end ... Saturday I will play my last match in Santiago Bernabeu.”
He added: "I arrived in 2012 in the hope of wearing a shirt in the world's best team and ambition to implement great things, but I was not to imagine what might happen after that."
He continued: "Playing in Real Madrid changed my life as a player and a person. I feel proud to be part of one of the most successful eraders of the best club in history."
“Magic nights in Bernabeu”
Mordic thanked the club, especially President Florentino Perez, my colleagues, coaches, and everyone who helped me throughout this period.
He added: “Over the years, I lived unbelievable moments, and Rimatat seems impossible, finals, celebrations, and magic nights in Bernabeu ... We won everything, and I was very happy. Very happy.”
He continued: “By exceeding titles and victories, I carry in my heart the emotion of all Real Madrid fans. I really do not know how to explain the special link that I feel with you, and how I felt support, respect and love and I still feel. I will never forget all the chants and all the kind gestures that you showed to me.
He added: “I will leave with a full heart, with the unforgettable pride, gratitude and memories. Although I will not wear this shirt on the field after the Club World Cup, I will always remain from Real Madrid fans.”
He concluded: "We will see each other again. Real Madrid will always be my home."
