Iran accuses Israel and the United States of targeting its nuclear sites and threatening to respond

The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization accused, in an official statement issued this morning, from Israel and the United States of being behind attacks describing it as “brutality” targeting sensitive nuclear sites in the cities of Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz, considering that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the Nuclear Weapons Prohibition Treaty (NPT).
Tasnim International News Agency said that the statement issued by the organization came after a series of strikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities at dawn today, noting that these sites are subject to permanent monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency within the International Guarantee Agreement.
The organization accused Israel of carrying out the attacks under the cover of the "American enemy", stressing that the American administration claimed responsibility for attacks across the electronic space and through the American President himself, what the organization described as "the legal chaos based on the law of the jungle."
The statement criticized what he called the “collusion” of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and its “indifference” towards the direct targeting of Iran for its nuclear facilities, calling on the international community to condemn these attacks and stand by Iran in defending its legitimate rights.
The organization confirmed that it will not retract the development of its nuclear program, and that it will continue its career with the efforts of thousands of scientists and specialists despite what it described as “the plots of enemies”, stressing that this national industry represents the fruit of the sacrifices of “nuclear martyrs”, and that it will continue to defend the rights of the Iranian people through the necessary legal procedures.
This statement comes in light of the escalation of regional tension against the background of the war between Iran and Israel, which witnessed during the past few days an exchange of missile attacks and qualitative strikes targeting sensitive military and nuclear facilities, in an unprecedented development that warns of more escalation in the Middle East.
