The death of 14 cases and the injury of 4 thousand with dengue fever in Aden and Lahj

The World Health Organization has said it had monitored an increase in cases of dengue fever in the governorates of Aden and Lahj, since the beginning of this year.
The organization indicated on its account on the "X" platform, that "more than 3,900 cases of dengue fever were reported in the governorates of Aden and Lahj, during the period between January and April 2025."
The organization added that among these cases, 14 deaths related to the disease were recorded, in the same period, with the widespread outbreak of viral dengue fever.
Last March, global health said that “the southeastern governorates in Yemen recorded 9,901 injuries and 9 deaths during the year 2024, and 1,456 suspected cases were monitored at the beginning of the year 2025.”
