A number of winners of the American Immigration lot (Lottery) for the year 2025 sent a letter in which they appealed to the official authorities to support urgent intervention efforts to raise the decision of the recent American ban to prevent Yemeni citizens from entering the United States.

The signatories on the speech described the decision as unfair and have great human repercussions on thousands of Yemenis, especially those who won the immigration program, or have applied for study visas, tourism and treatment, as well as families that have been waiting for for many years.

Al -Khattab pointed out that the American administration justified the decision in the absence of security coordination with the Yemeni side, while the message confirmed that Yemen has witnessed important developments in the audit and verification systems, including the introduction of the electronic slide in the passports and the development of the national identity card with advanced security technologies.

drew the speech to the deep human impact that the decision left, especially on the Yemeni families currently outside the country, in countries such as Djibouti, Riyadh and others, who were waiting for their interviews within days, after they endured exorbitant material burdens in the hope of a new life opportunity, before they were surprised by the sudden decision.

The winners called for an official diplomatic move, through the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to communicate with the American administration and clarify security developments, in a way that contributes to reviewing the decision and lifting the ban on Yemeni citizens.

They demanded at the conclusion of their speech to communicate their voice to the higher authorities, stressing that thousands of families are threatened with evaporation of their human, educational and medical dreams, and that the matter requires an urgent national position.
