Researcher Raed Joban harvested a master's degree in the news story and raises the interest of academics in Hadramout

The Department of Information at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Hadramout University, hugged this morning, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 AD, the public discussion of the master’s thesis presented by the researcher Raed Khaled Joban, entitled “The role of the story in developing news content” and the study presented a descriptive analysis on how to employ the narrative style in the reports of field correspondents in Hadramout Governorate working in the media in the governorate (Visual, written, audio).
The discussion committee consisted of associate professor d. Wahib Mahdi Aziban from the University of Aden as president and external discusser, and assistant professor Dr. Doaa Salem Bawazir from Hadramout University is an internal discussion, along with the scientific supervisor, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Salmin Mansour from Hadramout University.
During the discussion, Dr. Wahib Aziban has the quality of the research, stressing that it represents a qualitative addition in the field of media, especially because there are no previous studies that dealt with the art of news story in the various media, which makes it a scientific reference for researchers and interested, as d. Doaa Bawazeer on the efforts made in preparing the message, considering that she sets a solid basis for the academic department as the first batch in this specialization, while Dr. Ahmed Mansour about his admiration for the researcher's insistence during the research period, stressing that this effort today resulted in this scientific discussion, and added to Hadramout University a scientific reference that he boasted between Arab and international universities.
The discussion committee praised the initiative presented by the researcher Jouban in his research, which was the proposal of future studies in the same field aimed at developing the art of the news story, as it monitored in its theoretical framework the most prominent of what the narrative art reached in the news story in light of the development of technology until the date of the message.
The discussion was attended by Professor Salah Al -Bayti, Director General of the Ministry of Information Office in Hadramout Coast, as well as a number of academics, journalists, media professionals, fellow researchers and members of his family, in a scientific atmosphere that celebrated the discussion and highlighted the importance of research in developing news content.
It is reported that the colleague, the researcher, Raed Khaled Juban, holds the great status of the Hadramout government television sector.
